Fulham host Crystal Palace in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday.

It’s FA Cup quarter-final weekend with Saturday’s early fixture seeing a London derby between Fulham and Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage.

The Cottagers needed extra time and penalties to defeat Manchester United in the last round. Meanwhile, Palace enjoyed a much more straightforward affair as they saw off Millwall 3-1 at Selhurst Park.

FULHAM VS CRYSTAL PALACE PREVIEW

Fulham go into this encounter in mixed form, but they did beat Tottenham 2-0 in their last home game before the international break. Palace, meanwhile, have not played since 8 March when they beat Ipswich 1-0 at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace’s last away game was against Fulham, where they ran out 2-0 winners. A Joachim Andersen own goal and a Daniel Munoz effort proved to be the difference.

Interestingly, the two Premier League games between Fulham and Crystal Palace this season both ended in 2-0 wins for the away team. Back in November, Fulham went to Palace and secured a 2-0 win too, goals from Emile Smith Rowe and Harry Wilson setting up a comfortable victory.

The big news from the Palace camp is the return of striker Jean-Philippe Mateta. He suffered a serious ear injury in the win against Millwall following a horrific challenge from goalkeeper Liam Roberts. He was stretchered off and taken to hospital, with the wound requiring 25 stitches.

Sasa Lukic should return from suspension for Fulham. Meanwhile, Reiss Nelson is out for the rest of the season due to a thigh injury. Harry Wilson and Kenny Tete are both on the sidelines too.

Neither side has won the FA Cup, with Fulham’s best shot coming in 1975 when they reached the final. They lost 2-0 to West Ham. Crystal Palace have made the final on two occasions, in 1990 and 2016, when they lost to Manchester United on both occasions.

Fulham reached this stage of the competition last year, but have not made the semi-finals since 2002. Palace have not progressed to the semi-finals since 2016.

FULHAM VS CRYSTAL PALACE PREDICTIONS

Fulham Win
Fulham are at home, where their form has been reasonably solid. They have only lost to Manchester United and Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage in 2025. The passion of the home crowd could also guide them to a win.

Draw
Very little separates the two sides in the league. Fulham are eighth, Palace are 12th, with only six points between them. Palace also have a game in hand. Both Premier League games this season have gone to the away team 0-2, suggesting two evenly matched sides.

Crystal Palace Win
Fulham’s last home defeat was against Crystal Palace back on 22 February, so the visitors will feel confident they can strike again. Palace have won their last five away games in all competitions, all with a 2-0 score line.

FULHAM VS CRYSTAL PALACE – BETTING TIPS

Draw in 90 Minutes
There is little to differentiate between the two sides, with both of them claiming one win a piece in the Premier League this season. There are only four places and six points separating the two teams in the league, suggesting an even encounter.

Under 2.5 Goals
I expect a low scoring affair. The last four games between the two sides have all had under 2.5 goals, while Fulham and Crystal Palace both go into this game on the back of low-scoring wins (2-0 against Spurs and 1-0 against Ipswich respectively). Palace in particular are amongst the lowest scorers in the Premier League, with just 36 goals to their name this season. Meanwhile, Palace are looking for their sixth straight 2-0 victory away from home.
