The final stage starts in Thoiry and finishes on the Champs-Élysées after 132.5 kilometres. The neutralised start is scheduled for 16:15 local time, with the finish expected during the evening in Paris.
The route again includes the Côte de la Butte Montmartre. The cobbled climb measures approximately 1.1 kilometres at 5.9% and comes only 10.3 kilometres from the finish.
Its inclusion means the final stage is no longer guaranteed to end in a conventional mass sprint. Classics specialists and powerful attackers may try to create a selection on Montmartre before the remaining sprinters reorganise for the Champs-Élysées.
Unless the general-classification gaps are exceptionally small, the yellow jersey is normally not attacked on the final day. The sporting focus should instead fall on the stage victory and the remaining points available for the green jersey competition.
Riders to watch in the final stages
Tadej Pogačar
Pogačar has the strongest position. He does not need to attack Evenepoel and can respond selectively to moves from his main rivals.
His greatest risks are fatigue, crashes, mechanical problems and becoming isolated during Stage 20. If he avoids a serious incident, a lead of 4 minutes and 32 seconds should be sufficient.
Remco Evenepoel

Seixas has an opportunity to reach the Tour podium and win the white jersey. The principal concern is how his body will respond during the third week of his first race at this level.
He does not need a long-range attack to overtake Del Toro. A difference of only 20 seconds means bonus seconds, positioning or one strong acceleration could change the classification.
